Unvarnished Theater Company was formed in 2019 in Savannah, Georgia, by Jennefer Morris and Meg Kelly Schroeder, with the premiere of Will Eno’s The Realistic Joneses to sold out audiences. Having “gone dark” during the pandemic, Unvarnished has re-emerged as a non-profit theater company, committed to creating exceptional, challenging and unique work in the newly renovated and beautiful downtown space, The Clearing House, at 134 Houston St.
